Bio
Cory Walsh DeLise, Lic.Ac. holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Connecticut; graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Master's Degree in Chinese Medicine from Emperor's College in Los Angeles; and received a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego.
Bidding farewell to a long career as a nonprofit executive, working with organizations serving both children and the environment, Cory embarked on a journey into the world of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In addition to the four years spent attaining her graduate degree, she worked in clinics throughout Los Angeles as well as studying with top physicians in hospitals throughout Beijing, China.
Her specialties include musculoskeletal pain; infertility; facial rejuvenation; osteoarthritis; and disorders such as fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. She is trained in numerous techniques and can address a wide variety of diseases using acupuncture, herbal medicine, Chinese therapeutic massage, nutritional advice, and lifestyle counseling.
After living for 13 years in Southern California, Cory returned to her east coast roots in 2005 and spent 5 years working on the north shore of Massachusetts; 4 years in central Maryland; and has been practicing in her home state of Connecticut since 2013 where she treats patients in New Haven, adjacent to the Yale University campus. Cory also continues to see patients in Massachusetts for maintenance treatments on a biweekly basis.
Cory believes strongly in the philosophy of complementary medicine which embodies the concept that no individual branch of medicine has all of the answers. It is in the spirit of working together that physicians, acupuncturists, chiropractors and other specialists can make strides toward not only healing patients but also preventing illness from manifesting. Cory is eager to work collaboratively with all healthcare professionals toward that goal.
